| The Edmonson Suite Named after the first owner and builder of Montillico, David Edmonson, this room is bright and cheerful any time of the year. It is furnished with a queen-sized four poster bed, an antique secretary, an armoire and a TV. It has a comfortable sitting area in which to relax. It is a perfect room from which to admire the views of the Blue Ridge on one side and fields and pastures on the other. |
| The original fireplace in the Edmonson Room, as all the others in the house, is said to have been built by the Italian craftsmen who, at the time Montillico was built, were out of work on Thomas Jefferson's Monticello. Hence the name Montillico? |
