Historic Montillico
The Plantation Office

A few steps away from the
main house,
this guest house,
was built in 1817
. Formerly the
Plantation office
from where
David Edmondson conducted
the affairs of his large
plantation
, it also was what was
possibly a storage or drying
room on the
South side of the
building
.  A large fireplace with
limestone foundation separated
the two rooms.  Transformed
into guest quarters in 1995, it
was completely renovated in
2009.  Now with antique heart
pine flooring and a fireplace, it
exudes charm and comfort.

This self-contained suite  is perfect for
long & leisurely weekends. With its
original beams and soft sage color, it is
relaxing and cozy yet elegant at the same
time. It offers a full kitchen, a bathroom
with shower, a fireplace and HDTV, as
well as WiFi.
