| The Plantation Office A few steps away from the main house, this guest house, was built in 1817. Formerly the Plantation office from where David Edmondson conducted the affairs of his large plantation, it also was what was possibly a storage or drying room on the South side of the building. A large fireplace with limestone foundation separated the two rooms. Transformed into guest quarters in 1995, it was completely renovated in 2009. Now with antique heart pine flooring and a fireplace, it exudes charm and comfort. |

This self-contained suite is perfect for long & leisurely weekends. With its original beams and soft sage color, it is relaxing and cozy yet elegant at the same time. It offers a full kitchen, a bathroom with shower, a fireplace and HDTV, as well as WiFi. |
